Sultan-Ul-Uloom Education Society Celebrates 80th Independence Day With Patriotic Fervour

Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society (SUES) celebrated the 80th Independence Day with patriotic fervour at the SUES Main Ground, with enthusiastic participation from school and junior college students, principals, faculty and staff of its constituent institutions.

The national flag was unfurled by Mr. Mohammed Waliullah, Chairman, SUES, in the presence of Mr. Zafar Javeed, Honorary Secretary, SUES, and Mr. Aamer Javeed, Joint Secretary, SUES and Chairman, Sports Development Committee.

The NCC cadets of Sultan-ul-Uloom Public School presented an impressive parade, winning appreciation for their discipline and patriotic spirit.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Mohammed Waliullah congratulated everyone on the occasion and quoted Allama Iqbal’s famous verse, “Mazhab nahin sikhata aapas mein bair rakhna, Hindi hain hum, watan hai Hindustan hamara.” He encouraged students to pursue excellence in education and build a distinguished future.

Mr. Zafar Javeed spoke about India’s progress and the importance of unity. Recalling Bahadur Shah Zafar and the freedom struggle of 1857, he highlighted the values of courage, sacrifice and togetherness. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of the Society’s institutions, particularly noting the 33-year record of 100% results at Sultan-ul-Uloom Public School.

Emphasising that unity is the key to progress, Mr. Zafar Javeed said the talent and determination of SUES students give him confidence in the bright future of the country.

The celebrations concluded with a strong message of patriotism, unity and commitment towards building a progressive India.
